The internet has changed over the years and continues to evolve. The normal, static websites that were cutting edge just a few years ago are quickly becoming obsolete. If your website does not offer the prospective patient some valuable information, answer their questions or calm their fears they will not stick around.
Several years ago you needed to know some pretty tricky coding and understand weird looking symbols and lines of text to implement an effective website for your practice. It was common for PT practices to hire an individual or company to take care of this website design, implementation and upkeep. Today, thanks to Web 2.0 any PT can create a great looking website and leverage this marketing power that can attract loads of patients to your practice.
Web 1.0 was your basic static website. Web 2.0 of today means that sites and blogs (short for web log) have become very interactive allowing you to interact with visitors and gain their trust. In addition, it is much easier for a PT practice owner to implement a clinic website that offers informative articles, videos and even email newsletters.
